Fill out all address change forms

1 - 2 WEEKS BEFORE MOVE
If you haven't started packing yet, now is the appropriate time. Remember to :
Use correct boxes
Use labels for placement
Secure all fragile items
Remove all hazardous materials (paint, propane, medications etc)
Discard unwanted items

1 - 3 DAYS BEFORE MOVE
Begin staging and clearing your house for Friendly City Movers.
Defrost freezer and clean out refrigerator
Take down all pictures and hanging items
Pack all loose items and electronics
Clean out and pack all delicate and fragile items
Remove all blankets, pillows and linens from bedrooms
Pack 3 day essentials (medications, clothes, money and toiletries

We will contact you before your desired move time and confirm that you're ready
Make sure the driveway or loading area is clear for the moving truck
Remove any debris or snow from the walkway to the truck
You MUST be home when the movers arrive to load items
Do an initial walk through with the movers and point out any special concerns
Contact the delivery address and confirm its ready for the unload
ALWAYS perform a post-move check on all items and interior structure
